FARMER’S COMPANION DONOR 2015

 

We are at Gram Swaraj Social Organization, would like to appeal you to become a “Farmers companion Donor” by donating your valuable 10,000/- rupees for three month fellowship of Gram Swaraj which will be a great a help to  Nurturing  the future of Framers  and future of our Nation.

We found a shocking result of farmer’s suicide survey at Osmanabad district Marathwada region of Maharashtra, 74 farmers have suicide in year 2014, and it is increasing day by day, regarding this problem We meet all government stakeholders related to farming, ATMA a  agriculture department taking a great efforts to change this scenario by different activities, they have established 14620 Farmers Club of total 288352 farmers from 736 Villages of Osmanabad District and recently they have established 29 “Farmer producer organization”

 

We spend some time in field with 15 “Farmer Producer Organization”, we meet them had conversation and after field case study, conversation with farmer and ATMA staff meeting we got some findings like These Framer producer organizations are well designed they are having board of directors, farmers as shareholders, Govt support etc but still they are struggling for business planning, Brand finalization everything related to a Business Cycle and Organization level professional basic management

 

So we decided to help these 15 Farmer producer organizations of 8000 farmer by launching a primary 3 months “Fellowship Model” Now we are selecting 5 Fellows to strengthen these 15 Farmer producers Organization

 

Role of a Fellow:

1. Working directly with 3 FPO and direct indirect with 1200 farmers

2. Helping FPO Board of Directors to make Business plan with the help of expert people

3. Guiding Board of Directors to take care of all stakeholders

4. Helping FPO in following activities on own basis or with the help of external person

Business planning , Marketing  Planning , Brand Planning,  Budget preparation, HRD   activities, Employee engagement activities , Preparing scheme bank, Community based activity , Web Marketing , Leadership development, Team building , Account Management

5.  Playing as a facilitator role in overall business cycle of FPO

6. As per need and demand we will give you trainings on above activity

 

To run this three month fellowship program we need 2, 50,000/- budget
